King George’s Field Community and Sports Centre – Closure due to Coronavirus

“The Committee of Management of the King George’s Field met, virtually via exchange of e-mails, during the week commencing 11 May 2020,  and noted that at its previous ‘virtual’ meetings it had resolved as follows:

The Committee of Management of the King George’s Field met during the weeks commencing 16 March 2020 and 13 April 2020, via exchange of e-mails and, having taken cognisance of the latest government advice set out here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults it decided that, with regret, the building known as King George’s Field Community and Sports Centre was not to be used for any social or sporting gatherings until further notice and in any event not until further reviewed by the KGF Committee of Management.

The meeting affirmed this resolution and agreed to further review the decision during the week commencing 15 June 2020.”
