Two Hidden Secrets of the Oxfordshire Wolds
Lower Heyford and Caulcott have been described as “two hidden secrets of the Oxfordshire Wolds“. They are wonderfully located north of Oxford, with all the cultural and historical significance this has to offer.
The two villages have tremendous access to some of the finest countryside – with great views, lush pasture, cattle, sheep, swans, horses, all year round walking trails, a rich history themselves, and one of the finest examples of William Kent, landscaping in private ownership – Rousham House and Park – is right on our doorstep. They are also close to the former hunting grounds and magnificent palace at Blenheim. The Cotswolds are a short drive away as are the market towns of Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Banbury. Lower Heyford and Caulcott have so much to offer, beauty and peace, and yet are more relaxing (and convenient) than their more Westerly counterparts. Of course, we’re also just 15 minutes from the shopping joys of Bicester Village too!
