A Taste of the Punjab

We anticipate a large demand for our next food event which is…

Friday 29 November 7pm for 7.30pm

King George's Field Community and Sports Hall

Many of you will know Nandita's Thursday evening take away from her home in Heyford Park (www.currynightswithnandita.com).

Curry Nights started back in 2021 when she and her family moved from Greater London to Heyford Park with no accessibility to Indian food nearby. That led to a strong desire to bring their heritage food to the community and before she knew it, they were catering to villages further afield.

Starter: Vada Pav - We will begin with the beloved Indian street food classic, Vada Pav. This features a spiced potato fritter, golden and crisp, nestled inside a soft bun, and topped with a delicate coconut and garlic crumb for an extra layer of flavour. To complete the experience, we have crispy fried chillies, bringing a bold touch that perfectly complements the sweet and spicy chutneys.

Main Course: Kadai Chicken with Rice
For the main course, a hearty dish packed with the warmth of freshly ground spices. Tender chicken pieces are slow-cooked in a flavourful tomato-based sauce, enriched with ginger, garlic, and bell peppers. This will be served with aromatic basmati rice, creating a perfect balance of rich and comforting flavours.

NB There will be a vegetarian alternative.

As usual the bar will be open and specially curated wines available.

Tickets £28
