'A Taste of...' Events

A Taste of... is a series of events ranging from interviews to food evenings.  In the last 2 years the themed food evenings, cooked by talented local residents, have included Italian, Greek, Senegalese, Sri Lankan, Mexican and Punjabi cuisines.  In addition there have been author interviews, chocolate and wine tasting plus wreath making.

2025 Events

Friday 14 March - A Taste Of Italy - see below for more details

Friday 11 April – A Village Talks.

In a new series, residents Ian Willox and Robert Rowland Smith will chat to two villagers from Lower Heyford and/or Caulcutt about their illuminating work/life experiences. During the first evening Ian will interview the Television Producer, Sarah Adams. Lower Heyford farmer William Spray. We are amazed at the variety of talents and interests we are living right next door to. Needless to say, the bar will be open through the evening.

Wednesday 14 May - Rousham House tour.

After last year’s fascinating guided tour we have another opportunity for those who missed it or simply want to see inside the house again. This is a rare and absorbing insight into the gem most of us only see from afar. Entry to the garden is included in the tour.

Friday 6 June - Smartphone camera workshop.

How to unlock the potential of your smartphone camera. An evening workshop with local photographer and lecturer, Graham Wilson.
